LOCATION

Location can be one of the most important aspects in a film script as it sets the scene for the movie. Every part of your film, from the costuming to the length of a single shot, communicates with your audience. This includes locations. Choosing the right locations according to the genre and action in the various scenes can make a difference. In the opening scenes of 'Don't Breathe' various locations can be seen. Every location has its own importance as all details matter and have a reason to why it is chosen.

Some of these different location shots have been taken from the first try of filming the opening scenes of 'Don't Breathe'. Eventhough it hasn't been the final piece, things can be taken from it aswell as experience in order to master and perfect the overall shots for the opening scenes.

From the first attemp of trying to record the scenes, I have decided to try and obtain more out of the locations since they have a great importance and meaning for the film.

Horror is clearly presented through the images of the various locations as the light and lack of people suggest danger.
