I finally decided to choose horror as the genre for my openning scene after lots of research!!!!

Why?

I have finally choosen horror as it is my favourite genre. For example:

- Malasaña 32

- In The Tall Grass

- Verónica

Films opening scenes

I decided to analyse 3 opening scenes from different films.

My decisions were:

- The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

- Don't Breathe

- Véronica

Analysing these movies in terms of technical codes and representation took me a long time, but it helped me in order to start thinking about what could my opening scenes be about.

After various tries of finding the perfect production company brand and logo I chose the name ESTERTAINMENT, with very bright colors like red and pink, in order to stand out.

PROGRESS

During this two weeks I have started with my 'wix'. I have decided what genre to do my opening film about and with that built up some ideas to what I could do. I have aswell taken inpiration from the various films that I have analysed. I have also managed to create my production company.

PROBLEMS/ ISSUES

During this two weeks I have had some issued with deciding my genre as it is very important and can determine the future of my porject. I have also found it difficult to adapt to 'wix' as it is new for me.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT

I have learnt to analyse the opening scenes of films more in depth as well as finding out I really enjoy horror films.
