Ester Dios

Ester is one of the two characters which appears in the videoclip. During most of the song she is seen with her boyfriend, Antonio. They live happy moments in what is a special place for them however, towards the last part of the song we can intuit that they are no longer together because Ester is seen in the same place, but this time without being accompanied.

Costume

There is a clear difference in the clothes she wears before the breakup and after. In a certain way it reflects the emotional state in which the character is. Thus, the audience can understand more easily the narrative of the video clip.

This was my option for the first part of the music video. It is a casual outfit, appropiate for the genre and narrative of the song. It also reflects youth and as a result the target audience could emphatize and enjoy more the music video.
This was my option for the second part of the music video. It is once again a casual outfit, appropiate for the genre and narrative of the song. Altough it is very similar to outfit 1, there is a significant colour change. I decided to choose a dark sweater for this in order to reflect the emotions of a heart-break more efficiently, while it also reflects youth. I considered this an appropiate choice of outfit so that the targeted audience feels more engaged to the music video.

Make-up:

This is the make up process for the character Ester. The video shows the practice for the look intended to achieve when filming the music video 'To Build a Home'. The objective here is to be as natural as possible. Enjoy!!!!
Listen to it.
