The colours used throughout her website are very distinctive. The background is light blue while the texts are written in white with the headings in yellow. This is the same during the whole of the website. The contrast in the colours is very effective as it grabs the attention of the audience to certain things such as a link to watch her new songs, to buy concert tickets or to buy merchandise. It is also designed and laid out in a way it is not complicated to access the different options offered. For example, in order to open Adele’s social media there is a ‘Follow Adele’ which shows the different social platforms in which she is in with a direct access if clicked on it.

The website is very focused on Adele’s latest album ‘30’ and it is being promoted in many ways. As you scroll down, some of the songs in the album are shown. These have a ‘watch now’ option which takes you to youtube on a new page in order to watch the official music video without having to search for it. The same happens with the show performances ‘Weekends with Adele’, as there is a link to ticketmaster where you can know all about the dates and places where Adele is performing. There are answers to commonly asked questions and everything you need to know to register for presales and more.

Once you click enter, you are given the options of : listen/watch, special edition vinyl, be with us, international tour and lastly contacts/credits.
The design used for the website of The Irrepressibles is very interesting. In both the main page and homepage there is a dark background with four people. Two of them are hugging while the other two are leaning on each other. They can be seen completely naked and next to a big shape which is actually the logo of the band. This stands out very clearly as it is located right in the middle of the page and is extremely colourful, contrasting with the rest which has no colour. The wording is all written in white, and can be seen as the background is black. The font size can be considered by many as extremely small and, as a result, it may be difficult to read.
I believe that the webpage is laid out in a very effective way. It is straightforward to follow and everything is very clearly named for people to access what they want. For example, in the home page there are many boxes with different headings which indicate what each one has. By clicking on it, you will be taken to the corresponding page with further information about it. I find this accessible for everyone no matter the age. There are also many links which allow you to buy tickets to their upcoming concerts, to listen to their music on Spotify, to watch their video clips on YouTube, to access their Instagram account and to contact different people related to the music band.
